Whaaaaaat....time flies!

My lanta it has been a while since I have blogged! So I will do my best to catch you up. Here we go.
On the Forth of July, it was on an eventful day! wow. First I did the Crosby parade and I loved that one the most because I seen the most people that I knew and they cheered for me, which I didn't even expect! SO appreciate that btdubs (btw in my language haha). IT was so stinkin' hot too but luckily I had a few hour break before the Brainerd parade! First while we were waiting, I seen my buddy Lizzie! Oh how I love that lil chick! I seen her after the parade too. We were at the same stop light and stopped side by side...so not planned by us haha....and we were like 'I'll call you' doing the phone sign with pinkie and thumb! :P Just before I went out the parade directer came up and shook my hand and said thank you for coming to the parade & the little miss & mister pageant. That so impressed me and made me feel appreciated and honored. Then this older fella said to me you have the whitest dang teeth! I was clean as I said this he used the other dang word that is inappropriate to say at this time. :) Then a younger fella said to me you have the whitest teeth...do you use white strips?! HAHAHA that seriously made me laugh the rest of the day! Oh and then a really younger fella shot me the hand guns like hey good lookin'. That really made my day. Cutest little guy. I did it back to him! My favorite part of parades is getting to see everyone in the community but I love to give the little kids special attention. I will give them a special wave that is just directed to them. Just to make them smile and hopefully have a better day.

After the Forth, I had a couple parades in Garrison & Nisswa (i believe ;) ). Then I was also co-directing the Miss Crosby-Ironton Pageant! That was so awesome to help out with. Thank you to Jill for letting me help you out and having memories I will always cherish! The ladies that competed did so AMAZING! They are so near and dear to my heart!

So this is so not for attention purposes but to make you laugh and smile to show that even a person with a title is so not perfect or special from any other in anyway! I got the honor of presenting Bailey, Miss CI 2012, with her portrait and I did a little speech. Well before we even went out on stage I told her that we should do something funny like hug each other and just cry and say don't leave I don't want you do go! Well God had another plan in mind which was funnier may I say. So we head over to the picture and Bailey moved her dress out of the way so I didn't fall...well call me Gracie Lou Freebush (Miss Congeniality movie) because I beefed it on stage. Knee, arm, & butt hurt a few days after. But I didn't want to cry on stage that would be even more embarrassing. So anyone that knows me knows that I love to make anything into a comedy situation if it gets awkward & such. So I am trying to get up and when I do I did the 'SUPERSTAR' move! Made everyone burst out laughing! Then the emcee, Brad, handed me my shoe by saying your glass shoe Cinderella or something like that! That made the whole place blow up! Would not change that moment in my life for anything! Love it.

Then after the pageant I got to go to Crosby Park with the new royalty and we judged the loon calling contest and hot dog eating contest. Also we took pictures on the Scorpion Snowmobiles thanks to Randy for doing so! They turned out so awesome! The ladies looked so dang b-e-a-utiful! I looked pretty snazzy I guess haha!

Now I am prepping for Miss Minnesota International & going back to school to DeVry University. I will do my best to blog more and keep you all updated! God Bless. Below I will post pictures from events I talked about and that I didn't talk about in this blog! :)

Love always,

Crown, Sash, & Events!

Hello everyone.  I am so sorry it has been awhile since I have written.

So I recently received my sash(banner) in the mail and cried so hard. I seriously felt the hard work that I put into pageants was totally paid off!! I could not believe that my dream of holding a title has finally come true.
I did try to do my first appearance at our local mountain bike festival, but it didn't go too well. haha.
I showed up right at the start of the event and no one was barely there.
So I sat there awhile and I had to leave due to an interview I was helping with for the Miss CI Pageant!!

Now yesterday, I received my final attire for my title. My Crown. Seeing this sparkly accessory finally be on my head. That made my day. I am so excited to wear my attire to different pageants & events.

There are many events happening very soon. The very first appearance I have is going to the Miss Wadena Pageant!
But I have a SUPER surprise for the Miss CI Pageant. I cannot say because they will possibly read this blog but I will share asap what it is next week!

Now very soon I will be having my banner presentation which will include the Mayor of Crosby, Joanna Lattery & Miss Minnesota International 2013, Charity Bess.
I will absolutely let you know how that goes and many pictures to come!! :)

I also want to let all of my buddies and the other gals whom are competing for Miss Minnesota 2013 this week, the best of luck and I am praying for you! God Bless & Much love.

Hello everyone!!
My goodness, I have quite an adventure to tell you about from Memorial Day! The committee arranged to have carnations given to the residents of the care center!! So I prepared the flowers and went over the next day to hand them out! It was a joy to see the look on the residents faces! I also got see & visit my great aunt, Doris! She is still quite sharp at 88!!

Now yesterday I received my paperwork for Miss Minnesota International!! It is getting more real everyday that I am competing for a state title! I am so happy to have you guys along the journey! I will soon receive my sash & have my presentation! :)

Taking Chances & Doing good!

Hi everyone! I must say I have been trying so hard to contain myself as I have been waiting for my package in the mail! I just try to remember the state director, Allison, has been busy getting things ready for the MN International titleholders for the International pageant!

Trust me I will be updating this blog ASAP when I get my package of info for state! But for the moment I have been focusing on the hometown pageant, Miss Crosby-Ironton Scholarship Pageant! Since I'm helping out this year, I have been organizing an event for Memorial Day for the awesome royalty!

They will be going to the Care Center & handing out carnations to the residents! I am planning on going with so things go smoothly & for media purposes!! Hopefully I get my sash in time so I can wear it to this fun event! I also have a family member in the care center, so I am excited to visit with her and see her again!

On Wednesday (May 15th), I held a Snow Cone stand! It was a fundraiser for my platform, Every Smile is Beautiful. Mainly for the organization I have linked to it which is Operation Smile! It was kinda weird to be sitting outside like a little kid pretty much trying to sell stuff but I was doing for a fantastic cause! I didn't do as great as I hoped but thanks to some wonderful friends of mine, Amber & Mariah, I was able to start another donation! This does not stop me from fundraising! I will keep going until I reach my goals! I got a nice tan from it, including a nice little burn! Ha! It was still fun!

I could not wait to do another blog! I really can't wait to blog more once I get my crown & sash! Ekkk! That will be exciting! It still hasn't sunk in that I am Miss Crow Wing County International!! And that I am going to compete for Miss MinnesotaInternational & on my 21st Birthday!! Gonna be a great day no matter what happens! I trust God with all my heart and I know He has big plans for me!!

Until I have more to say,
God Bless!

Pageants, Why I love them!

Hi my lovely blog readers,

Since I have yet to receive my sash & crown and start making appearances, I thought I would let you know of the mystery that is my love for pageants!
It began back in 2011 after my first pageant. I really wanted to do another after a few months of the pageant. I loved the feeling of being onstage and entertaining people.
The thrill of the possibility of representing your community while being a positive role model to others.
Being able to feel like you are a true queen up onstage in a beautiful evening gown with poise and elegance.
Also being able to let your platform be heard & make a difference within it!

For me I have been extremely shy and not outgoing at all through school. Until my senior year, I caught word of the pageant so I thought I would try it. This is something that I would never thought I would do. But once I stepped out on that stage, I wanted so much more of that stage! I felt so blessed to be able to share my platform!
But be able to just be me!
I have always felt like I wasn't able to be myself in school and it was hard for me to express myself.
Mainly due to the fact that I have been teased so much in my life.

Through pageants, I have gained self-confidence and a sense of inner beauty. I really appreciate how God has helped me grow and learn so much!
I thrive to serve God through my life of course but also through pageants!
I love to bring Him to the stage and through Him I only succeed!
I don't hope to gain fame in anyway but just to make a difference and help out where I can!
I don't want to rub it in anyone's face of my title, that is purely not me and I don't like to make people feel bad or be rude.
Making friends have been a major part of my journey.
I feel so thankful for every wonderful person I have met and befriended, they are so special to me!

I do pageants for the good and never for the fame.
As this titleholder position is so new to me, I try my best to hold it respectively and serve God throughout every event and people I meet.
I want to take this time to thank God for everything He has blessed me with.
I know I am meant for something big, I am buckled in for the ride!

God Bless,
Tiffany Paul

Pageant Events!!

Hi guys & gals! So these past two weekends were filled with fun pageant events! Though I didn't do them as appearances as my title, I had a blast!

On April 13th, the first pageant 'event' was me getting the letter stating I was chosen to be Miss Crow Wing County International 2014! After that I was getting prepped to go do an event for the Miss CI Pageant to rally up some girls for the 2013 pageant! It was a lot of fun!! Then I had to leave early because I was being baptized that day! I had the opportunity to get re baptized at my church so that was an impacting and life changing moment!

On April 19th & 20th, the second event was the Living Local Expo! The Miss CI Pageant had a booth there so I went and helped out! It was tons of fun being able to spend Saturday with Bailey, Miss CI '12, & Allison, Heritage Day Princess '12! I was able to go up to make an announcement with the ladies to get gals to come register for the pageant! I even got to say I was Miss Crow Wing! That was kinda cool not gonna lie!

Now I await for my banner ( sash) presentation so I can officially make appearances! I am feeling so blessed and happy God has chosen me to do these wonderful things! In return I thank Him, praise Him, & Speak of His word and His love!

Be sure to thank Him for what He has blessed you with!

Until next blog,

Hello I am Tiffany Paul!

Hello to all! May I say as I write this first blog post, I am so excited! My name is Tiffany Paul. I have been in the pageant world for about 2-3 years now. Lets start from the beginning!

In 2010, I helped my dad as the stage hand for the Miss Crosby-Ironton Pageant. It was such a blast and I fell in love with pageants from then.

In 2011, I competed in that same pageant and I loved the experience of having a little small town fame and being up on stage. As the pageant started I was so ready. I said my prayers throughout the night and I felt so prepped. I prayed that God would be shown more on stage than me. And I wanted to inspire others through God. That was quite successful. When It came time for the crowning, I was so ready. I didn't want any other crown on my head but the Miss Crosby-Ironton crown! I heard cheering and no new weight on my head. I was really depressed but through prayers and time I got over the hurt.

In 2012, I competed for the last time for Miss Crosby-Ironton. I prepped myself and did a little something extra. I held a fundraiser at my workplace for my platform organization, Operation Smile. I raised, thanks to God and my community, $1,321.25. I was so happy and blessed to make a difference. As the pageant night came, I was ready. I said my prayers and was ready to rock the stage. When it came time for crowning I was so nervous. As Miss Congeniality and Princess were crowned, I was really nervous because that was in the same position I was in a year before. And I heard cheering and again no new weight was on my head. I was so happy for the girls who captured the titles. Though I was a little bummed, I worked through it.

That night after the pageant was over, Vicki, a fantastic pageant buddy of mine, told me to check out the Miss Minnesota local pageants. So I did. I looked and found a new pageant being put on called Miss Northern Lakes. I prepped and competed on October 13, 2012. As that day came upon us, I was set to have fun and make new friends. I loved that day and will not forget the fantastic memories made. As it came time for crowning I was so nervous. I was clenching the poor gals hand next to me, who is a great friend of mine! Name was called and it was not mine. I was so happy though for the girls crowned. I had a blast and loved the experience.

I did not know where to go after that in my pageant life. I tried looking for new pageants to do in the Miss America system. I couldn't find any that would work for me. But then, thanks to my pageant consultant Tammy, I found out about the Miss Minnesota International Pageant.

I looked up the pageant and loved the concept and what they were about. So I sent in my information one time and waited for a response. I didn't get one for awhile. So then I emailed them again to get their attention. Not to long after I received an application to represent my county. I was so excited I filled it out and sent it in the same day. Then I waited quite awhile and emailed them to hear when I could possibly hear something back. Then I received an email back and it sounded like I got the title. I had to wait to let everyone know on Facebook and such.

So today I am so blessed and happy to say I am your new Miss Crow Wing County International 2014! I am proud to serve and represent you well at the Miss Minnesota International Pageant on March 8th, 2014! And that is my birthday, BONUS! Haha! Follow my blog to hear the latest on what I am up to and whats going on.
Thank you to God first and foremost for the amazing blessing He gave me by blessing me with this title.

Until then, I will talk to you later!
God Bless,
Tiffany Paul
