Mystery Reader & It's close to pageant weekend!!!!

Hello Everyone! I had such a blast when I was the Mystery Reader at CRES! It was also kind of emotial going back there because that is where I went to school. When I got there I answered some questions from the kids and they had a lot of questions!!!

Some were:
1. Do you live in a castle?
2. Are you a real princess?
3. Did you win a pageant?
4. What's your favorite color?
& More!!

A little girls told me I was really pretty (it was so humbling.) & wanted a closer look at my crown. I also seen a plaque that was a memorial to my kindergarden teacher, Mrs. Polich. She passed when I was in 7th grade (2006). She taught me so much and I feel so blessed to have her for a teacher. She is now a beautiful angel in Heaven! I must say it is the people who make this experience worth it. A quote from a good friend, Savannah Cole (Miss Southern Valley for the Miss America Program), who was Miss Baxter Outstanding Teen 2012 said for her farewell speech, "It is the experience that make this journey worth it. Without the experience the crown means nothing to me." I agree fully! It if wasn't for all the kids, teens & adults…EVERY PERSON, this experience wouldn't be worth it. God has taught me SO much! I told God that if this isn't something where I can't worship Him or show His grace & power, I do not want this title. But if it is an experience where I can do those things, then I wanted it.

Now days, I am getting ready. I am focusing on God and nothing but Him. It is getting closer to pageant weekend, I feel ready as I can ever be. No matter what happens, God has a purpose for everything and I know I will be happy whatever the outcome is. The day of my pageant is also my 21st birthday, so it will be a fun weekend. God Bless y'all who have supported me through out this whole experience. It has been a learning & growing journey.

I will keep you updated on what's next in getting ready & my next appearance. I contacted the people whom are associated with the Curtis Lee Facebook Page. On March 1st, they are hosting a kid's prom at CRES. I asked if I could help out in anyway & they said they would love to have me help. I so cannot wait to have fun because I never went to my high school prom. So this will be a blast. I will post pictures ASAP. For more information on the sweet & strong Curtis Lee go to their website for all the info: http://www.walkwithmeforcurtislee.com/

Until next time, God Bless!
