A lot has changed!!

Hello there! So a lot has changed since my last post. So PageantLive went well. Though I did cough a couple times & I guess it was a little disturbing while I was trying to quiet it. Had a blast on the show.

On Friday the 7th, we headed down to the hotel for pageant weekend. It was so surreal.

We got to the hotel safe and sound. Checked in our room and then I went down to pageant check-in. It was a lot of fun meeting all of the gals. Next my parents and I went out to birthday dinner at Applebee's. Where I got sang to!! haha! It is actually on my vine so go check it out.

After that, I went to rehearsal at the ballroom. After that long night we went back to the hotel. I could hardly even sleep! Plus not being in my own bed has a factor as well lol.

On Saturday the 8th, was the big day; Pageant day and my 21st birthday! Right away I got ready for Interview. My parents and I went to Perkins for breakfast.

Then headed to the hotel for the interviews. Before the interviews I asked the gals who were in my interview group if they wanted to do a prayer before. I lead the prayer and after that it is safe to say we felt ready to go. God calmed us and prepared us. I LOVED how the interview was set-up. Instead of having a panel, you get interviewed individually by each judge. All pageants should do that in my opinion lol.

Then on down to the ballroom for rehearsals, lunch, & pageant!! I have to say that I love ALL the gals! Safe to say our new Miss Minnesota International, Gabby Taylor, became my best friend that day! Multiple times throughout the day she kept telling me Happy Birthday!! Love ya girly!

During the pageant I was ready and praying every second. I remember the dreaded onstage question part. OMG!! I had NO CLUE what the question was even about. I didn't know how to answer. I just said a round about answer and hoped I was right. I never heard of anything this question was about.

But I was happy when that was done! I was just worried about not tripping onstage haha. That happens with me.

After all the competition, it was time for crowning. My feet were so sore let me tell you! I couldn't wait to get out of those darn heels lol. So as it got to the Miss crowning, I was excited/nervous/unsure/trusting in God! As I lasted through the runner-up and it was time to crown the titleholder, I couldn't believe I was still standing. I didn't know what was going to happen.

Then the name was called, GABBY TAYLOR! I was so flipping excited for my buddy!! I gave her a big hug! Also right before her name was called, she told me happy birthday! Again love you bud! I seriously was so happy and proud!

After the whole pageant, I was so happy to be done!

On Sunday the 9th, I was home and decided on my pageant future. I am no longer competing in pageants. I could not keep going through the traveling, spending money I barley have, & also at times feeling like I am not good enough. I feel like at times, my birth defect is the reason why I am not chosen for the title. I want to put my focus on something that makes me feel positive and not sure & uncomfortable with myself.

On Monday the 10th, God put something in my heart. I had this dream since I was a kid but forgot about it after I started pageants. So I am pursuing it now! I sent in an audition today and trusting fully in God no matter how far I get. I would say what it is but I don't want to give up any hopes incase it doesn't work out. I will update on my website on what happens. I will leave it at the end of the blog!

I want to say THANK YOU!! I had a blast being your Miss Crow Wing County International 2014. It was an honor. I have one more appearance as my title and I am officially done. Thank you God for this experience and continually providing for my needs and my dreams! Love you!

4 Days until Miss Minnesota!

Hey y'all! So I have been prepping in more ways than one for Miss MN International! I am a little nervous but I am more trusting in God peacefully that all will go well and I will have a great time.

I was practicing for interview and all I could find myself speaking of is God. All my answers were faith filled. After I was done practicing I felt at peace and confident God will help me. I am also praying that I will share God as confidently as I did practicing. It is because of Him I am there in the first place! I go in 3 days and in 4 days is the actual pageant. It doesn't even seem real but I know once I hit that stage I will have fun with all of the other amazing gals!

Also watch out for me on PageantLive tonight at 7PM CT! I so can't wait I always wanted to be on the show! I will also be vlogging the whole weekend at state. So I will have a video of a first hand shot at what it will be like competing.

Wow, I just realized as well it has been 2 YEARS since I last competed in my last pageant! It was a Miss America Local, Miss Northern Lakes 2012 in Bemdji, MN! That was such a blast! The friends I made there I still am friends with now. Time sure does fly. That is why we must live in the moment and soak in every second.

Be watching on PageantLive tonight for myself and also there is a sister queen of mine in this system who will be on the show with me, Maggie Wothe (Miss Teen Detroit Lakes International 2014). I will post the video after we are finished tonight!

Thank you & God Bless,

Listen for God's Voice

Hello all my peeps! I have been reflecting on things this past week. Let me tell you, you can realize a lot about yourself when you take the time! I realized since I gave up social media this week that I am very dependent on it. I hunger for the likes, comments, etc on vine, twitter…  I really feel horrible coming to this truth. I am so happy I am a changed gal. This will stay for sure. God has my heart and life and I know I am safe being in His righteous right hand.

Also tonight God has spoken to me in a unique way. I am going to post this to Facebook as soon as I get back on. This is what He has put in my heart to share with you.

'Think of a coin. Think of how intricate and precise their detail is. Also, they have value. Now think of yourself. God made us so intricate, so precise He made us in His image. How we have a value through God alone!

Money serves a purpose to pay for the necessary things in life.

We have a purpose to serve God. To kindly spread His name and word. To be a soldier for Him. To accept Him in our heart and know He is coming back.

So if you hear someone saying they are not unique or if they feel like they have no purpose in life. Tell them these facts. Accept God before it's too late!'

Hope you all enjoyed this message. Yet this message is so true. If you think of a coin, their detail is so intricate and on point. Well God is that way with us. He made us in such a way to be in His image and to serve a purpose. Amazing what you learn when you least expect it but ready to listen! Keep your heart open and be ready for God to whisper!

Thank you for reading this. I know this may not seem pageant related but to me it is. We are all unique and that is one of the things I will be using to push me through while God is at the wheel. I wouldn't be competing if it wasn't for Him. You can definitely take time out of your day to Thank Him for all He does for you. :)

God Bless & Much Love,

2 WEEKS UNTIL THE BIGGEST PAGEANT YET!

Hello! I am writing this a changed gal. This past Sunday I took a break from all social media (vine, twitter, instagram & facebook) as an act for God. To do it for Him and focus on Him and strengthen our relationship! He has already shown me so many amazing things! I have also started reading the whole bible which I will be done in a year!

Within this week I have been focusing on God and practicing for the pageant. Only two more appearances until state. I have been praying everyday for God to prepare me spiritually, mentally & physically prepared. Also I have been praying for God to help me just focus on Him & Him alone, to give me the right words to say, help me move with poise/grace, focusing on having a great time & for Him to shine through me the whole weekend!!

Until then God Bless & Much Love,
Tiffany Paul

Mystery Reader & It's close to pageant weekend!!!!

Hello Everyone! I had such a blast when I was the Mystery Reader at CRES! It was also kind of emotial going back there because that is where I went to school. When I got there I answered some questions from the kids and they had a lot of questions!!!

Some were:
1. Do you live in a castle?
2. Are you a real princess?
3. Did you win a pageant?
4. What's your favorite color?
& More!!

A little girls told me I was really pretty (it was so humbling.) & wanted a closer look at my crown. I also seen a plaque that was a memorial to my kindergarden teacher, Mrs. Polich. She passed when I was in 7th grade (2006). She taught me so much and I feel so blessed to have her for a teacher. She is now a beautiful angel in Heaven! I must say it is the people who make this experience worth it. A quote from a good friend, Savannah Cole (Miss Southern Valley for the Miss America Program), who was Miss Baxter Outstanding Teen 2012 said for her farewell speech, "It is the experience that make this journey worth it. Without the experience the crown means nothing to me." I agree fully! It if wasn't for all the kids, teens & adults…EVERY PERSON, this experience wouldn't be worth it. God has taught me SO much! I told God that if this isn't something where I can't worship Him or show His grace & power, I do not want this title. But if it is an experience where I can do those things, then I wanted it.

Now days, I am getting ready. I am focusing on God and nothing but Him. It is getting closer to pageant weekend, I feel ready as I can ever be. No matter what happens, God has a purpose for everything and I know I will be happy whatever the outcome is. The day of my pageant is also my 21st birthday, so it will be a fun weekend. God Bless y'all who have supported me through out this whole experience. It has been a learning & growing journey.

I will keep you updated on what's next in getting ready & my next appearance. I contacted the people whom are associated with the Curtis Lee Facebook Page. On March 1st, they are hosting a kid's prom at CRES. I asked if I could help out in anyway & they said they would love to have me help. I so cannot wait to have fun because I never went to my high school prom. So this will be a blast. I will post pictures ASAP. For more information on the sweet & strong Curtis Lee go to their website for all the info: http://www.walkwithmeforcurtislee.com/

Until next time, God Bless!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Well hello there! I am so sorry I am not good at keeping up with these blogs but I have been so busy with work and such it is hard to keep this up! I will do my best now because STATE IS COMING UP!
Next month all the paperwork is due and then in 2 months…MISS MINNESOTA INTERNATIONAL 2014 PAGEANT! I have been praying and praying. Trusting in God that He will bring me through this with the right mindset and faith in Him. Just to trust in His plan and His plan alone.

This friday I will be the Mystery Reader at CRES and I am so excited. It will be so much fun to read to the kids and answer and questions they may ask. I love volunteering with kids because you never know what they will do and it always makes me smile.

I feel so honored to be representing this county in this organization. The International pageant system is an amazing organization. They are unlike any other pageant out there. They are mainly based on volunteering in the community and this is something I love to do.

I will update asap when things get to rolling along with state. Thank you for all the support during my reign! God bless & much love!

Whaaaaaat....time flies!

My lanta it has been a while since I have blogged! So I will do my best to catch you up. Here we go.
On the Forth of July, it was on an eventful day! wow. First I did the Crosby parade and I loved that one the most because I seen the most people that I knew and they cheered for me, which I didn't even expect! SO appreciate that btdubs (btw in my language haha). IT was so stinkin' hot too but luckily I had a few hour break before the Brainerd parade! First while we were waiting, I seen my buddy Lizzie! Oh how I love that lil chick! I seen her after the parade too. We were at the same stop light and stopped side by side...so not planned by us haha....and we were like 'I'll call you' doing the phone sign with pinkie and thumb! :P Just before I went out the parade directer came up and shook my hand and said thank you for coming to the parade & the little miss & mister pageant. That so impressed me and made me feel appreciated and honored. Then this older fella said to me you have the whitest dang teeth! I was clean as I said this he used the other dang word that is inappropriate to say at this time. :) Then a younger fella said to me you have the whitest teeth...do you use white strips?! HAHAHA that seriously made me laugh the rest of the day! Oh and then a really younger fella shot me the hand guns like hey good lookin'. That really made my day. Cutest little guy. I did it back to him! My favorite part of parades is getting to see everyone in the community but I love to give the little kids special attention. I will give them a special wave that is just directed to them. Just to make them smile and hopefully have a better day.

After the Forth, I had a couple parades in Garrison & Nisswa (i believe ;) ). Then I was also co-directing the Miss Crosby-Ironton Pageant! That was so awesome to help out with. Thank you to Jill for letting me help you out and having memories I will always cherish! The ladies that competed did so AMAZING! They are so near and dear to my heart!

So this is so not for attention purposes but to make you laugh and smile to show that even a person with a title is so not perfect or special from any other in anyway! I got the honor of presenting Bailey, Miss CI 2012, with her portrait and I did a little speech. Well before we even went out on stage I told her that we should do something funny like hug each other and just cry and say don't leave I don't want you do go! Well God had another plan in mind which was funnier may I say. So we head over to the picture and Bailey moved her dress out of the way so I didn't fall...well call me Gracie Lou Freebush (Miss Congeniality movie) because I beefed it on stage. Knee, arm, & butt hurt a few days after. But I didn't want to cry on stage that would be even more embarrassing. So anyone that knows me knows that I love to make anything into a comedy situation if it gets awkward & such. So I am trying to get up and when I do I did the 'SUPERSTAR' move! Made everyone burst out laughing! Then the emcee, Brad, handed me my shoe by saying your glass shoe Cinderella or something like that! That made the whole place blow up! Would not change that moment in my life for anything! Love it.

Then after the pageant I got to go to Crosby Park with the new royalty and we judged the loon calling contest and hot dog eating contest. Also we took pictures on the Scorpion Snowmobiles thanks to Randy for doing so! They turned out so awesome! The ladies looked so dang b-e-a-utiful! I looked pretty snazzy I guess haha!

Now I am prepping for Miss Minnesota International & going back to school to DeVry University. I will do my best to blog more and keep you all updated! God Bless. Below I will post pictures from events I talked about and that I didn't talk about in this blog! :)

Love always,
